About the role:
Morningstar is looking for a highly competent administrator to actively support, coordinate and successfully execute key administrative functions in support of our events programme. In this role, you will work with events, creative, marketing and research teams to coordinate the production of our global awards programme (creation and distribution of trophies and certificates). Additionally, you will provide administrative support for our flagship Morningstar Investment Conference, UK, as well as other administrative duties as required. This position reports to the Head of International Marketing, and is based in our London office.
Job responsibilities:
+ Execute administrative work for global Morningstar Awards programme, working closing with the Director of Events
+ Work closely with design function to coordinate artwork creation for each element of the awards trophies and certificates for global programme
+ Coordinate with regional marketing team to obtain approval on all artwork
+ Liaise with team responsible for certificate printing/trophy engraving to ensure timely production
+ Gather final materials per location, conduct quality assurance on each item, and then coordinate with office facilities team to ship internationally
+ Work closely with the Senior Events Manager, UK, to offer administrative support for the Morningstar Investment Conference, UK, including but not limited to: sponsor and speaker support, answering delegate emails
+ Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Events team as required
Requirements:
+ Proven administration experience (events experience not necessary, but helpful)
+ Proven experience working within a team to coordinate a project, working with multiple functions and team members
+ Superior project management skills; ability to coordinate complex projects with conflicting timelines, organised and logical but with the ability to adapt
+ Be process driven; ability to adapt existing/create new processes to enable efficient output without jeopardising quality
+ Ability to pay close attention to detail whilst maintaining consistent approach
+ Have excellent communication skills; both written and verbal, with the ability to adjust communication style to suit audience and build rapport in short timeframes
+ Proficient with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, etc. with the ability to quickly learn new systems (e.g. project management software, payment processing software, email marketing systems etc.)
+ Experience using project management software (e.g. Asana, JIRA) preferred
+ Three years of experience in the work-place
