Sacred Circle Healthcare is seeking a full-time IT Desktop Support Specialist for our main clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Job Summary

• Overview: Devoted to all aspects of computer set-up, installation, troubleshooting, service, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Reports to: IT Manager

• Work Schedule: To Be Determined with the availability of 8:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required depending on position requirements. This position may work remotely for a portion of the weekly schedule.

The successful candidate:

• Completes, maintains, and processes documentation for the help desk ticketing system and responds to requests for service in a timely manner.
• Apply service principles for the implementation and support of the EMR EClinicalWorks (ECW), Lab applications, and medical imaging, picture archiving communication system (PACS).
• Travel to satellite clinics to perform instrument installations and networking of instruments, and digital scanners.
• Primary supports end-users accessing the EMR, Lab application, and Pharmacy application when needed.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant hardware and software technologies as assigned.
• Work closely with the clinical team to effectively perform remote and onsite demonstrations and training of the EMR, Office 365, and related clinical software.
• Creates/revises curriculum for application training sessions using the EMR, and Microsoft applications, coordinating/providing training to small groups.
• Provides troubleshooting and resolution of clinic network connectivity and clinical technical issues.
• Assists in supporting, documenting, and maintaining HTML web-based applications preferably WordPress or other Internet/Intranet web applications.
• Troubleshoots computer and network infrastructure systems, including LAN/WAN issues.
• Contributes to company-wide projects and initiatives.
• Develop/maintain SharePoint policies and standards related to the use of shared company data and resources.
• Installs and configures new or existing hardware and software when required.
• Coordinates efforts with the desktop support staff when needed to help support and solve technical issues.
• Participates in validating new and existing clinical products and clinical applications.
• Provides application advice and guidance with workflow practices, individually, or during group training sessions for end-users.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues with company desktop computers, application software, and network devices.
• May be required to travel several days a month to satellite clinics.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of directly related experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of computer operating systems.
• Knowledge of internet and network technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Knowledge of deploying network devices including Wi-Fi access points.
• Skills in project management and organization.
• Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work closely with all employees.
