Based in Dartford Kent with hybrid remote working

£30,000 - £42,000 with 10% annual bonus

My client who is leading electronic manufacturer for the Automotive industry have an exciting new position for someone that is looking to develop their engineering skills. My client manufactures complex Electronics products and systems and supply their products globally.

They are need of a Applications Engineer!

Responsibilities - Applications Engineer - Kent

• Providing exceptional customer service and a proactive approach focused on the aftermarket but occasionally OEM customers too.
• Develop solutions to applications problems/opportunities.
• Managing the bespoke product modification for customers via Brigade supplier base.
• Preparation of application documentation including CAD technical drawings, system schematics, specifications and installation instructions.
• Creating and obtaining approval of manufacturing documents e.g. drawings, BOMs, specifications etc.
• Provide technical information and support in the preparation of quote/tender documentation, business development and initial installations.
• Product application support to customers and colleagues
• Troubleshooting and customer technical support.
• Lead technical training programs for customers and colleagues
• Co-ordinate suppliers and contractors for bespoke products and applications.

Key Skills/Experience - Applications Engineer - Kent

• At least 3 years experience in Electronics Manufacturing or Automotive Electronics
• Experience in a business to business environment
• Knowledge of Electronics product development
• Knowledge of digital and analogue electronics
• Has used Electronic test equipment and CAD tools
• Strong communication skills to commicate with suppliers
