We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team and provide care for our furry guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for feeding, exercising, and providing companionship to the animals in our care. This position requires a compassionate individual who is comfortable working with animals of all sizes and breeds. The Kennel Assistant must also be able to clean and maintain the kennel, as well as assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and taking payments.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain kennels and cages.
- Monitor animal health and behaviour.
- Provide food and water to animals.
- Administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Maintain records of animal care.
- Provide basic grooming services, such as brushing fur and trimming nails.
- Assist with the transport of animals to veterinary appointments.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Volunteer
Part-time hours: 0-30 per week
Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
