About us
Hilbrae Rescue Kennels is a small business in Telford, TF6 6QJ. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to be the best kennel in the area and provide good training.
We are looking for an experienced Kennel Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care for our furry friends. The successful candidate will be responsible for feeding, exercising, and cleaning the kennels, as well as providing basic medical care when needed. We are looking for someone who is passionate about animals and has a strong work ethic with previous kennel experience. The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain kennels and other animal enclosures.
- Provide food and water to animals.
- Monitor animal behaviour and health.
- Administer medication to animals as prescribed by a veterinarian.
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals.
- Provide exercise for animals.
- Maintain records of animal care activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £10.42 per hour
