Due to recent expansion, we are looking for Doggy Daycare staff to join our professional, and experienced, friendly team.
To help maintain the high standards of our establishment, we are searching for experienced, qualified, conscientious and flexible individuals.
We are looking for an individual qualified
in animal care and preferably working in a similar environment or with previous experience working with dogs.
Key Requirements:
- An animal management qualification is required, minimum level 2.
- Experience working with dogs required- ideally in a similar environment.
- A dog lover who is comfortable with all breeds & sizes of dogs, and large groups of dogs.
- A social & enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can confidently work with a small team, you must have good practical skills and be physically fit for this active role.
- Working at daycare is predominantly an outdoor job, so you must be happy working in all weathers.
Key Duties:
- Supervising and engaging with a large group of dogs of all sizes.
- General cleaning of the daycare facility & daily cleaning of the boarding kennels.
- Feeding and administering any medications for the daycare or boarding dogs.
This position is initially part time progressing quickly to a full time position for the right person. We are open 365 days a year 7am til 7pm, so must be willing to work during these times, Monday to Sunday including holiday. Due to the location of our facility you must have a driving licence.
Apart from the obvious perk of working with dogs in a low stress, friendly environment our salaries are generous and loyalty is rewarded. Salary levels dependent on experience.
