Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • Provide support with the management and delivery of training activities for the Security Training and Awareness function.
  • Conduct quarterly phishing simulation exercises to everyone who has access to email within the organisation, provide subsequent metrics and issue training to repeat offenders.
  • Conduct a complete review of the annual Cyber eLearning content to ensure validity, addresses current threats, and fulfils audit and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements to provide adequate cyber education.
  • Stakeholder engagement with the Business Information Security Officers to oversee and support their business unit’s regulatory training requirements.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to ensure courses are scheduled and completed within required timeframes. Complete necessary administration to facilitate effective course delivery.
  • Liaise with Group Risk for reporting purposes, including completion metrics and subsequent chasing/reminder management. Provide suitable reporting on all training metrics for consumption by wider LSEG audience.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders across different business units e.g. BISO’s, other LSEG legal entities, second and third line of defence ensuring training-related queries are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain various talent pools (groups of named individuals) according to their specific mandatory training requirements.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with third party training content providers.
  • Assist and support other members of the Security Awareness and Training team to ensure their deliverables are met.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Have a good understanding of NIST Cyber Security Framework (Protect>Awareness & Training), ISO27001 and/or ISF Standard of Good Practice.
  • Although this is not a technical role, you must be able to demonstrate some technical competence. This includes being proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in writing cyber security course content, covering basic understanding of information security threats, and encouraging positive security behaviour to protect the organisation and individuals both at work and home. Hand in hand with this is having a good grasp of Cyber controls and how and why they protect the organisation from information breaches and misuse.
  • Experience of coordinating training course delivery, whether via a third-party provider or in person (direct content delivery in a classroom environment or via Teams).
  • Suitable qualifications such as SANS Security Awareness Professional, CISSP, CISM, CRISC or MSc in Information Security favourable.
