Analyst | Student Placement
Reporting to: Audit Lead
Duration: 1 year - Start date July/August 2023
Degree Background: Business/Finance/Economics/Mathematics/Languages/any other UNDERGRADUATE analytical biased degree
Work location: Central Manchester office
Main purpose of job:
Clarify and conclude whether all financial commitments and agreements made by suppliers to the Client have been actioned correctly and rectifying any errors that may arise. This involves financial analysis, research, investigation, collaborative working supporting our internal colleagues and external clients, understanding the needs and then presentation and negotiation.
Key tasks:
Review client contracts, archived data, emails and other documentation for evidence of errors and omissions in the financial commitments and agreements made by suppliers to the Client. Pursuit of such claims to the satisfaction of the client; liaising with key stakeholders up to CFO level.
Skills required:
On course for achieving a 2.1 or above in their respective degree. High numerical ability.

Data analysis – analyse, review and understand large data sets. Pursuit of such claims to the satisfaction of the client; liaising with key stakeholders up to CFO level.
Skills required:
- On course for achieving a 2.1 or above in their respective UNDERGRADUATE degree. High numerical ability.
- Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel is advantageous.
