Your New Role...


Reporting to the Director, International Content Finance and Analytics, this role will support the development of insight into our content investment decision making and build our understanding of content value across WBD International. This role will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders and adjacent teams, reflecting the multi-functional and multi-market characteristics of the role.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Support development of insight into content value across our markets

  • Contribute to analysis to pinpoint high level content investment dynamics and trends, building view on what drives value across markets, platforms and titles e.g. allocation of investment, trends and patterns in monetization, title level deepdives
  • Prepare models and analyses that support development of insights for management team and stakeholders
  • Build benchmark sets to support portfolio analysis and multi-market business cases

Drive continuous improvement in content analytics process

  • Assist BI dashboard development, maintenance and analytics for International, enabling enhanced insight into content decisions
  • Run regular and exploratory analytics and reporting, track changes, improve day to day information availability
  • Highlight data gaps, inconsistencies and source solutions
  • Identify ways to automate manual activities to be more efficient e.g. actuals tracking, process coordination
  • Liaise with colleagues in other teams to share best practice

Support broader global content finance activities

  • Work with team to establish new process around content finance projects and process areas including, but not limited to: integration work, cashflow initiatives, intercompany projects and other areas
  • Support other ad hoc projects and presentations e.g. building slides, illustrating data insights with simple, clear and perceptive visualisations

Qualifications & Experience...

Would suit someone with some experience or potentially a first job for someone with a degree in a closely connected subject, ideally educated to degree level.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to work well and communicate effectively in a cross functional, matrix environment
  • Strong analytic, financial modelling and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
