Job Profile Summary:
Transfer Agency Oversight Analyst
This Transfer Agency Oversight Analyst role sits within the Client Operations team who are focused on Investor flows oversight and reporting across Man's investment engines.
The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate/timely reporting of capital flows from the administrators to the Front Office/Business as well as monitoring that service levels are consistently met. With key focuses on risk management and issue ownership, they will be required to operate and review well defined procedures as well as use knowledge and resources to solve time critical problems, proposing improvements/enhancements where applicable.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of all relevant Service Provider/Transfer Agency processes/procedures. Perform reviews and control processes, resolving and/or escalating any issues
Liaise with the fund administrator/s to reconcile capital flows and accurate/timely reporting. Ensure the integrity of the firm’s data is maintained
Manage queries and incident process with Service Providers for any operational incidents escalating where necessary
Responsible for the completion and oversight of daily Client Money processes/controls to ensure that CASS compliance is being maintained
Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the Service Provider organisation and operating model as it relates to CASS and Investor Services
Manage and develop relationships globally with Sales, Middle Office, Front Office and Senior Management and ensure high level of client service and turnaround times for requests at all times with team
Stay informed of industry changes and impact on relevant products
Constantly review, challenge and enhance existing processes to make team more efficient, reduce risk and add value to the business
Assist the Middle Office team in its wider responsibilities
Key Skills & Experience:
Graduate calibre or equivalent with strong academics
Experience or internships in a similar Client Service / Transfer Agency / Operations role in the Investment Management/ Hedge Fund industry/ wider Financial services industry (advantageous)
Good level of understanding of or experience working with Transfer Agents (advantageous)
Knowledge of fund/ financial services industry regulations, especially Client Money/CASS (advantageous)
Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate ability in Excel (comfortable with large volumes of data and able to reconcile using combination of formulas, pivots etc.)
Motivated and hardworking, with a strong attention to detail
Strong communication and relationship management skills
