We’re searching for a Content Factory Technical Delivery Lead (Vice President, Director) to lead the technical side of our Content Factory, collaborating deeply with client teams and leading cross-functional technical teams. In this executive leadership role, you will be responsible for building, delivering, and scaling the Content Factory’s range of technical offerings to our clients. These services include Veeva CRM Commercial Cloud-based projects, marketing technology strategy, full-stack software/platform development, business analysis and quality assurance.
As a key leader, you will partner with highly talented individuals across Digital Strategy, User Experience, Marketing, Media, Data and Analytics, and Creative to deliver transformative success for our clients. You will also be responsible for the career management for multiple Content Factory technical team members, as well as shaping the culture of the Content Factory team.
Key responsibilities include:
Overall health and client satisfaction of Content Factory and client engagement
Articulating the Content Factory views on digital business philosophies, keeping clients up-to-date on the latest technologies and leading the vision for growth for the long term
Leading the Content Factory Solutions Enablement team
Owning the relationship with client’s Content Factory leads and IT representatives
Developing and maintaining relationships with the client marketing, customer experience, and promotional review teams
Organic growth of client engagement and leading technology involvement in Content Factory new business efforts
Providing leadership and/or guiding the implementation and activation of MarTech platforms; identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for platform optimization through strong understanding of product roadmaps in correlation to client business goals
Continuous success of project delivery
Accurately estimating projects and large-scale engagements as well as writing scope documents
Financial accountability for Content Factory scopes
Forecasting and maintaining right-sized technology staffing across Content Factory
Removing impediments from both day-to-day projects and organizational progress
Driving cross-capability team adherence to the SDLC process
Providing executive sign-off for technical requirements, production deployments, and policy documents
Collaborating with business analysts, product owners, and project managers during the creation of requirements
Contributing to the PH Veeva and Adobe practices and the Content Factory’s continuous improvement activities by bringing innovative ideas to the table
Staying current on emerging digital marketing technologies, best-practices, and trends
Developing relevant case studies on client businesses and vendor partner experiences to help support optimization and new business initiatives
Aiding in managing and developing the Content Factory to adapt to changing environments and needs and drive and coach teams to successful solutions and continuous skill development and growth
- Four-year degree (Computer Science or equivalent preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 12+ years of work experience within the marketing technology or IT space
- 5+ years of experience with leading multidisciplinary technical teams
- 2-3 years of experience in delivering enterprise omni-channel connected marketing solutions and experiences
- 5+ years of experience with development and delivery of Veeva Commercial Cloud suite projects (CLM, Approved Email, and Engage for Meetings in particular, others are a huge plus)
- Recent Veeva “Business” certifications in CLM, Approved Email, and Engage for Meetings or ability to immediately achieve certification
- Deep expertise with software development processes and conventions
- Expertise with the foundational elements of web page anatomy and building blocks such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Expertise with the marketing technologies such as websites, emails, banners, databases, and experience management platforms
- Expertise with business and technical processes to enable technology solutions
- Experience in identifying and communicating project and team risks to leadership and clients
- Experience leading client meetings, presentations, and new business efforts
- Experience leading multiple simultaneous projects for multiple clients
- Experience working within multiple project management methodologies, e.g., Scrum and Waterfall
- Experience with standard business software such as Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, etc; as well as industry-specific tools JIRA, Sketch, Zeplin, automated testing, etc.
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) best-practices
- Familiarity with business operations such as margin, profitability, contract terms, and project burn
- Ability and willingness to learn about various marketing technologies and platforms
- Ability to be flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- To be a highly motivated individual with a strong record of professional achievement
- Creative agency experience a plus
- Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
- Candidate must be open to travel (including possibly internationally) as needed
Additional Information
Compensation Range: $153,000.00 - $257,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
