Job Description
Your Opportunity:
Alexander McQueen is looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join the EMEA Retail Merchandising team. In this new role you will be responsible for the daily operation and administrative functions across the womenswear and menswear retail merchandising departments for Europe.
How you will contribute:
- Support the retail merchandising team to run daily and weekly reports based on business needs and specific projects
- Support stores with daily queries and requests
- Analyse product performance, store feedback, customer trends and competitive landscape to share with regional retail merchandising team to drive opportunities
- Support the retail merchandising team with stock consolidations and store stock requests
- Prepare training materials, competitor analysis, markets trends
- Support and participate in facilitating product training and briefings
- Supporting the retail merchandising team with pre-market analysis and ad-hoc special projects
Who you are:
- Highly analytical, well organised and with great attention to detail
- You have previous experience in retail, ideally in a similar role, and you have a good understanding of key merchandising principles and product
- You enjoy challenges and working in a fast-paced environment
- You have advanced MS Office skills, especially excel, and keen on learning systems
- A team player who is comfortable with cross functional communication and collaboration
- You have a keen interest in the fashion and luxury industry, and you have strong product awareness
- Relevant studies or professional qualifications will be considered a plus
