Airside Technical Trainer

Your new role:
As an Airside Technical Trainer on our busy Ramp / Airside team, you will be responsible for carrying out all training for new/existing Airside team members, including delivering our New Hire Training Program to all new team members joining the business. You'll be responsible for working with the Airside Manager to ensure the team remain compliant and up-to-date with training; including practical training of all services, GSAT enrolments, ADP/MADP pass enrolments and renewals and Propel.
You will ensure team members are trained on existing and new equipment as required, as well as on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will conduct observations on team members in all aspects of the business as well as carrying out retraining on team members when needed. When no training is required, you will join our Line Service Technician team with their duties and tasks, which will include wing walking, chocking cones and handling aircraft arrival and departures.
You'll be responsible for keeping all training files organised, accurate and maintained within Company standards as well as scheduling additional resources for any training needs.

About you:
If this sounds like you, we'd be looking for a proven track record of successfully training people as an essential requirement. Previous experience of working within a busy Ramp / Airside department, including marshalling and towing of aircraft is highly desirable.
You will have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, and a customer orientated approach with strong customer service skills. You will also be at ease with communicating credibly across all levels of the Company, and proficient with general Microsoft programmes e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel.
Flexibility of start and finish times within the shift pattern is required.
