Not your average logistics role!
Here at Stafford House Study Holidays, we provide learning holidays for around 6,000 young, international students each summer. As an integral part of the operations team, you’ll assist with transfer bookings for student’s arrivals and departures, as well as supporting our Meet & Greet Coordinators and external customers, occasionally at other sites.
It’s not just an office role although you’ll be based at our Head Office, just a 2-minute walk from Canterbury city centre. You will be required to assist the operations team at our warehouse on occasion. Additionally, there may be some days spent at transport hubs (airports, St. Pancras International etc.) to support student arrivals.
It’s a fast-paced, fun role with no 2 days alike. You’ll need to thrive on a challenge and embrace working as a team to ensure the smooth logistical aspect of our study holidays.

- £21,450 pro rata
Here a little more about what the role involves
- Liaising with transport companies and making transportation bookings including coaches, taxis and trains
- Communicating with transport providers and members of the team regarding last minute travel plans and status of arrivals/departures.
- Taking part in the Hold out-of-hours Individuals Transfer Phone on a rota basis.
- Being flexible to assist at our warehouse on occasion, as well as transport hubs (airports, St. Pancras International etc.) to support student arrivals.
- Supporting the Operations Team in Head Office and Boston, USA, as well as Meet & Greet staff
What you’ll need for this role:
- A passion for all things travel, as well as a calm approach to overcoming obstacles that typically affect travel plans
- Have some experience of logistics, customer service or office work, which demonstrates relevance to this position
- Flexibility to travel to our warehouse and on occasion to arrival hubs
- Be a fantastic communicator, with a professional and friendly manner
- Have great organisational with attention to detail
