Aircraft Mechanic
Job Summary:
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of aircraft. This position will also be responsible for troubleshooting and performing maintenance on other aircraft. The Aircraft Mechanic will work closely with the Production and Quality Assurance departments to ensure that aircraft components are installed, repaired, and tested in a timely manner. The Aircraft Mechanic will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work area and ensuring that all tools, equipment, and shop supplies are properly maintained.
Requirements:
·High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·Previous aircraft mechanic experience preferred.
·Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
·Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
·Must be able to work overtime when required.
·Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as well as follow safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
·Able to work in cold/hot environment (outdoors).
·Be comfortable working in a physical environment such as outside on a roof or around equipment.
·Must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
·Must be able to work overtime when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £43,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
