Position: Aircraft Appearance - Water & Waste Operative
Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time)
Location: Manchester Airport
Salary: £26,291.20
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off. (24 Hour Operation) Days or Nights
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check and counter terrorism check ) if you are to be successful for this position.
DHL work in partnership with easyJet at Manchester Airport to provide all aircraft cleaning services. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the cleaning operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Operating water & waste bowsers around the airport
- Servicing the water & waste for inbound and outbound flights
- Liaising with the cleaning department to react to associated requests
- Stock taking & replenishment
- Ensure compliance with both airline and airport policies
- Ensuring a safe working environment at all times
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Full UK Driving License
- Previous airside driving experience
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Have a calm, friendly and professional manner
- Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
- Be able to provide 5 years address history
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- To obtain a full airside ID
