WHAT TO EXPECT We are looking to appoint a talented Airborne Noise Vibration Harness (NVH) Lead Engineer to support the defining and delivery of JLR's acoustic pack and sealing strategy for our luxury vehicle range and customers. Specifically, you'll get to carry out virtual and physical design reviews, seeking out solutions to complex engineering challenges (pack issues, attribute conflicts, target shortfalls) and support off-cycle activities with a view to develop the process and techniques related to airborne noise delivery. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Ensure the successful delivery of the airborne noise attenuation to sign-off levels on relevant JLR programmes. Lead the definition and integration of the acoustic pack and sealing strategy for relevant JLR programmes to the expected level of quality and timing constraints. Lead the resolution of key airborne noise issues at all stages of the product development process from definition to delivery through to launch and industrialisation. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You'll have a good understanding of noise vibration harness fundamentals, particularly in relation to airborne noise control. You'll have experience of understanding, clearly defining and solving complex engineering. You'll be used to influencing and persuading others in the delivery of results / objectives. SO WHY US?
