The Agile Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading the Delivery Team, and managing multiple Delivery Leads within that team. They are also responsible for ensuring that the team delivers projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assigning clear roles and responsibilities to each delivery lead, ensuring they understand their specific duties and expectations
- Communicating regularly with delivery leads to discuss progress, obstacles, and potential solutions
- Facilitate clear lines of communication between delivery leads, team members, and stakeholders
- Facilitate regular delivery team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions
- Ensure that each delivery lead is maintaining accurate project tracking and documentation, including Jira sprint boards and sprint backlogs, Resource Plans (HubPlanner), Revenue Tracking Sheets (RPS), RAID logs and UAT Test Plans
- Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure projects stay on track and within budget
- Support delivery leads in identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the project
- Act as a liaison between delivery leads, exec team and heads
- Provide guidance and coaching to delivery leads as needed to help them improve their skills and performance
- Regularly evaluate the performance of delivery leads and provide feedback, recognition, and opportunities for growth
- Review the project RAID logs with delivery leads on a regular basis and develop mitigation plans for any identified risks or issues
- Ensure that RAID logs are updated in a timely manner and that all stakeholders are aware of the status of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
- Use the RAID logs to inform decision-making and to anticipate and mitigate potential problems before they occur
The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role, or have gained the skills required to make a progressive career step in this position. We are looking for:
- Experience working in an e-commerce agency.
- Experience within Technical Delivery – managing complex projects.
- Great stakeholder management skills (internal and external)
- Effective people management skills
- Commercial mindedness
- Agile/Scrum certified
- Strong time management skills
