The Business Automation & Simplification team act as the Centre of Excellence to drive automation and simplification for VBTS UK. This is a critical function to make sure that our transformation activities are as Agile as possible and that we lead VBTS UK on how to simplify ways of working. These activities will improve performance and help VBTS UK in achieving business goals
What You'll Do
As an Agile Coach you have the crucial role in helping and supporting the transformation of our organisation; VBTS UK is the Enterprise Build organisation for our fixed and converged products.. You are responsible for shaping and implementing Vodafone’s Agile way of working and increasing the business agility of our organisation. You coordinate (personal leadership), implement, coach, consult, train, and inspire others to work Agile and improve the way of working further based on clear feedback and data driven from our Agile way of working surveys and colleagues.
The work will require a strong background in the use of Agile frameworks, this includes, but is not limited to DevOps, Kanban, Scrum & SAFe. You should also be proficient and knowledgeable with at least the Lencioni pyramid and Tuckman model. We currently use both JIRA & Azure so a working knowledge of these is required.
You must be capable of designing and implementing a new operating model.
Manage and support the agile transformation and guide the organisation and teams through the agile journey and maturity growth by- Building and supporting teams to increase their maturity, e.g. against SAFe’s 7 Key Scaled Agile competencies
- Defining standards and creating playbooks for agile ceremonies, e.g. PI-Planning, daily stand-ups, Portfolio Sync etc

Provide training and coaching on agile ways of working and adoption e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) to all relevant stakeholders and teams and advise on set-up of value streams for delivery
- Train all levels of the organisation on agile principles, practices, roles, artefacts and ceremonies to maintain consistency of adoption and continuously improve performance
- Manage and facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices throughout the organisation and capture it in a useable, easily accessible format for all

Manage and lead the usage of agile adoption measurements to evaluate and report the performance and adherence of the organisation on a regular basis
- Data-driven assessment of agile maturity
- Data-driven assessment of delivery performance
- Work with and guide delivery functions on an on-going basis
- Teach and promote Catalyst Leadership within VBTS UK while shaping our current Practice Program Curriculum
Who you Are
- You will have a background in Agile Coaching/Scrum Master
- Be able to maintain and deliver standards and governance to support Agile adoption
- Must have a creation of an Agile mindset and adoption of Agile practices will improve efficiency for customers and our service delivery
- You will be ale to facilitate the risk management process
- You will have worked in an agile environment of 1k+ people
- The successful person needs to be organised, able to manage a number of teams with various levels of maturity
