What you will be doing


You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Graduate Project Manager and can expect to be involved in the following:

  • Report directly to the Programme Manager so will manage a multi-functional team (including Engineering, Procurement, Production and other departments) to develop High Grade Security applications and products

  • Be the point of contact for customers, suppliers, proposals and projects

  • Ensure projects are managed in accordance with contractual/commercial requirements

  • Ensure effective assurance, governance best practice is established and maintained throughout the project lifecycle

  • Play an active role in project decision making and managing a multifunctional team to achieve project goals and objectives

  • Manage projects and establish EAC / CTC throughout the project life-cycle following company processes

  • Ensure programmes focus on mitigation of risk and opportunities to result in successful completion

  • Create budgets, schedule, dependency analysis, risk management, and risk mitigation strategy

  • Adhere to Airbus Quality Processes, ensuring deliverables are produced in-line with requirements, are to an exceptional standard, and are managed through the relevant Airbus gate/quality reviews and client approval process

  • Occasional travel within UK

At the end of the 2 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a key player as a Project Manager within Cyber Security.

What we look for


To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

  • A degree level within a relevant field of study (HND/Degree in Business Information Technology or relevant experience)

  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

  • Should have a knowledge of managing projects and people both locally and remotely

  • A proven track record of project delivery in a development and production environment

  • PMP, PRINCE 2 or equivalent project management certification

  • Experience with project delivery in a development environment

Salary: £31,000
