What you will be doing

The graduate programme within Finance UK at Airbus will provide you with a fantastic start to your career. The scheme is made up of 3 key elements; placements, personal development and technical development:

Placements :

• Rotate between different placements and locations every 6 months

• Build knowledge from fundamental finance in the first year to more complex roles by your third year

• Have your first year focused in the UK, second year onward will be a combination of international and UK based roles

• Be provided with a holistic view of the organization and gain invaluable experiences

Personal Development:

• Follow a structured development pathway to equip you for a successful career as a Finance Graduate and Future Leader

• Be given responsibility early on, to influence and guide decision making throughout the company

• Undertake a wide range of Finance, Operational and Leadership training to develop as a rounded individual

• Throughout your roles you’ll be working within a transnational team, giving you exposure to different ways of working and an appreciation of different cultures

• Be provided the opportunity to participate in various charities, sports and community events to further your professional and social development

Technical Development:

• Be fully supported towards CIMA membership status via study support, on the job training in various finance roles and mentoring

Below is an example of the placement structure of the Finance graduate programme:

• Year 1 - Cost Accounting (Filton, Bristol) / Single Aisle Manufacturing Controlling (Broughton)

• Year 2 – Accounts Consolidation (Toulouse) / Airbus Military (Brize Norton)

• Year 3 – Widebody Programme Controlling (Toulouse) / Quality Controlling (Broughton)

At the end of the 3 year development programme you will be fully equipped to be a Future Leader in our finance community.

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

• Educated to either degree level (2:1 or above) or equivalent in one of the below;

  • Accounting & Finance, Business, Economics

  • Other subjects would be considered with evidence of relevant experience or strong interest in finance.

• Wanting to gain a CIMA membership status

• Internationally Mobile with home site within UK (Visa support provided)

• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.

Salary: £31,000
