You will be responsible for generating sales opportunities for our sales team by proactively engaging with prospective customers via a range of channels, including but not limited to social media, email, telephone and webinars. You will be inquisitive and have a desire to learn about our core product functionality and service offering and develop an understanding of the competitive landscape. This is crucial to generating new business sales leads in core target markets. You will maintain client records on CRM, answer client questions and managing cold call and warm call leads.
- Generate high-quality sales leads and schedule sales appointments within our Midmarket target markets (companies that have 50 or more employees).
- Conduct thorough research on potential Midmarket B2B clients to assess their needs and effectively promote BigChange products and services.
- Proactively engage with prospective Midmarket BigChange customers through various channels, including telephone, social media, and email.
- Provide valuable insights into BigChange products and services to new business prospects using a variety of communication channels, such as telephone, email, and the exchange of appropriate marketing materials.
- Utilize the BigChange diary system to strategically plan sales appointments based on salesperson, region, and vertical market.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of core product functionality and service offerings to become a specialist in BigChange's offerings.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors, continuously positioning BigChange as the market leader in all forms of communication.
- Foster and promote positive and collaborative working relationships with the sales team and other departments.
- Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system according to BigChange's established systems and procedures.
- Address client inquiries promptly and professionally regarding credit terms, products, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain disciplined use of the CRM system for effective communication and customer management.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing and sales programs, aligning strategies to maximize impact and generate business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed targets for sales appointment bookings, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company.
- Act in the best interests of BigChange at all times, representing the company with integrity and professionalism.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B lead generation or similar customer-facing role.
- Highly proficient in use of social media as a core sales tool to engage with prospects.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work towards targets/ KPI.
- Analytical skills to test and improve team performance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative mindset.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with a relentless focus on customer success.
