Image Data Group are a family run business with sites in Howden, Hull & Brighton, operating at the forefront of marketing communications, providing print solutions/products since 1989. We deliver innovative visual communications for the UKs leading retailers & corporations from banners, tension-fabric light boxes to presentation brochure packs & office stationary.

The Customer Service/Account Manager role is based in the office on site in Willerby HU10 6EB & a key role within our business. You will create & maintain the positive relationships with our customers, suppliers & internal customers/colleagues ensuring their needs are exceeded daily.

Your hours of work are 37.5hrs per week working Monday to Friday, 9am until 5.30pm. Main Function:

To provide customers with a comprehensive, high quality service, develop sales from new & existing client accounts & be the lead on an account or set of accounts. These accounts may also have a higher spend and a higher volume of orders due to the seniority of the role.

Key Performance Tasks:

Strategic

  • To develop strong relationships with existing and potential client contacts, by ensuring regular meetings and developing a sound understanding of individual customer needs.
  • To uphold the imageData Group values by being customer focused, service driven, innovative, collaborative, flexible, enterprising and accountable.
  • To progress enquiries in an effective and efficient manner.
  • To implement, develop and monitor procedures for the administrative control of work, ensuring accurate reporting and timely processing of orders.
  • To understand the print and marketing service requirements for all key clients.
  • To take responsibility for the accurate reporting and timely invoicing, ensuring that invoices are raised for all completed jobs within 3 days of dispatch.
  • To help develop relationships with the buyers and specifiers of print and marketing services within key clients.
  • To successfully communicate job/project briefs from clients internally at imageData group.
  • To ensure that relevant production personnel are informed of impending projects and their level of urgency.
  • To help develop, produce and present client-related tenders and proposals.
  • To ensure that all works job tickets are raised in a timely and accurate manner on the Company’s management information system, Tharstens.
  • To agree delivery schedules and ensure that projects proceed to the agreed critical paths.
  • To ensure that the use of the automated ordering and processing systems within the management information system are operated correctly.
  • To understand, promote and apply the company’s corporate values.
  • To report any non-conformances (NCs) and action corrections.
  • To manage other key tasks that may occur from time to time.
  • To ensure that the Company and customer quality procedures are followed at all times
  • It is the responsibility of all employees to comply with Health and Safety Legislation and Company Policy. This involves maintaining safe working conditions (including equipment), drawing attention to hazards and to taking reasonable care of themselves and others. Employees must ensure that all necessary safety devices and protective equipment are used and comply with the Health & Safety Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality and Security Policies and Procedures.

Skills:

  • High level of education.
  • Knowledge and experience of the printing industry.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to rapidly changing work priorities with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to give and receive complicated instructions.
  • Articulate with a good command of English.
  • Proven ability to present to clients.
  • Sound working knowledge of computing systems especially in major Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in using management information systems (if possible Optimus/Tharstens, although training will be given).
  • A sound understanding of quality standards and customer procedural requirements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the needs of customers and how to communicate these to other departments.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing work priorities.
  • A helpful and co-operative attitude
