The Focus of the Role:
As Affiliate Editorial Assistant you will be working at the heart of Bauer Media’s trail-blazing Content Commerce Team, providing crucial support through the planning, implementation and monitoring of editorial projects and branded content campaigns.
Working alongside the Commercial Content Editors you will be at the sharp end of emerging editorial strategies and ecommerce delivery for Bauer’s flagship affiliate brands, including; Grazia, Motorcycle News, Heatworld, Closer, Mother and Baby, and What’s the Best.
What You'll Do:
This is an all-encompassing role that will see you taking on editorial tasks and projects that interact with colleagues across a spectrum of teams – from SEO, product development, insights and data, marketing, and beyond. You'll be managing projects, strengthening ties with our international affiliate colleagues, and working with writers to deliver branded content campaigns.
Prior experience in these areas is optional – more important are strong presenting and communicating skills, the organisation of yourself and others, plus a desire to learn and get stuck in.
Key areas of responsibility are:
- Assisting with the administration and planning of editorial and affiliate commercial projects
- Timetabling and arranging milestone meetings
- Liaising with stakeholders business-wide in the delivery of KPIs
- Supporting the senior editorial team with projects and priorities
- Managing the editorial calendar, especially around key sales events
