We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated telephone adviser to join our existing Adviceline team, providing a quality-assured telephone advice service here in Oxford. Our telephone advisers are often our clients’ first point of contact with our service. Your role will be to assess a client’s needs and decide the best next step to help resolve the issue. You will give advice over the phone, as well as information designed to empower clients to help themselves. This role can be delivered remotely, but our ideal candidate would also have the ability to attend team meetings in our central Oxford offices. Ideally, you will have completed the Citizens Advice Adviser Learning Programme (Core module) and have a minimum 6 months’ experience. However, we are willing to offer a trainee position to the right candidate who can demonstrate:

- An ability to gather and assess information quickly and accurately
- An ability to learn quickly and to manage with a busy schedule
- An ability to deal confidently and sensitively with members of the public as part of the frontline service
