Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

A UK driving license is essential for this role and you need to be a Male Support Worker!
We are a unique supported living service, we love where we live and have a communal garden in which we all enjoy spending time in during the summer months. We are a service for people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and mental health.
We love having our own properties and being able to personlise them. We enjoy watching our wildflowers bloom and we also have high-rise planters which we are preparing for vegetable patches. There is still lots to do in our garden, we have big plans.
We have a great community spirit and we often all get together and hold events, such as Christmas lunches, a game of rounders ,football tournaments, BBQ’s amongst many others. We also all enjoy carrying out a range of varied activities in the community.
We need you to enjoy being out no matter what the weather, we do not like to be in our homes all the time. We need team member who will work with us and encourage us to be as independent as we can. We like to be involved in every aspect around our lives.
We need a good listener, sometimes to us having someone to talk to is all we need. We need someone who remains calm in a difficult situation, and can problem solve and be reassuring, and also ensure that you take our wishes into consideration. We need you to always communicate in a positive and honest way
We need flexibility and and there are sleep/night shifts that need to be covered (10pm to 7am)
