GCU’s Admissions and Enquiry Service are seeking to appoint 4 new Admissions Administrative Assistants to assist with the processing of applications, responding to prospective student enquiries, and help ensure that we can deliver an excellent applicant experience for all. The successful candidates will have responsibility for processing decisions, checking applicant documentation, providing guidance on admissions processes and procedures, and other administrative duties to support prospective students.
We are looking for 3 Admissions Administrative Assistants to provide general support to our Admissions and Enquiry Service, with 1 Admissions Administrative Assistant focussed on PG Taught applications specifically.
Educated to HNC level or equivalent, the appointed candidate will have a proven track record working with an information or customer management system in an HE or commercial setting. With the ability to work with data, manage own workload to meet deadlines, we will be looking for excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as strong IT competence. A flexible approach will also be required as work patterns will include some evening and weekend work, on occasion. Annual leave may be restricted at certain times of the year to accommodate peak business needs.
