Job description

Recently acquired by Sygnature Discovery, SB Drug Discovery is a leader in the delivery of high-quality cell lines and execution of robust screening assay against a broad range of molecular targets.

At SB Drug Discovery, our services, built on expertise amassed across more than 20 years of global project work, help quickly generate trustworthy data and accelerate the discovery of novel therapeutics.

Known globally for our cell line generation expertise, delivering challenging target solutions and in-depth functional characterization, our focus is on providing reagents to expedite discovery research.

Due to further expansion of our company, we are seeking to recruit an Administrator to join our admin team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing orders, including:
  • raising purchase orders (scientific reagents and equipment)
  • placing orders with suppliers
  • matching delivery notes to invoices – dealing with shortages, damages and any discrepancies.
  • General admin work –filing, answering phones, receipt of deliveries.
  • Dealing with incoming enquiries.
  • Managing office calendars.
  • AD hoc duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent PC/IT skills – Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
  • First class communication skills and able to clearly communicate in a professional manner at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, with excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • Basic financial/accounting experience or scientific purchasing experience would be beneficial.
