More about the role:

The successful Administrator will undertake the following duties:

  • Co-ordinating the production and delivery of food through internal teams e.g. production teams and drivers
  • Ordering and planning distribution of products to remote sites
  • Ordering of supplier products
  • Acceptance/checking of deliveries
  • Inputting and maintaining data within internal financial/accounting/order
  • Reading, writing and responding to emails both internally and externally
  • Communicating with the client and internal team members
  • Controlling wastage through effective ordering and stocktaking procedures
  • Stocktaking of items and inputting data to internal stock systems
  • To take responsibility for correcting relevant client service problems
  • Adherence to all relevant client and Company policies
  • To report health and safety issues to your line manager, including all accidents and near misses
  • To promote good safety habits and methods of work
  • Follow all client and company health & safety procedures and standards at all times. This includes but is not limited to Food Handling, COSHH, Uniform Standards, Personal Protective Equipment, Manual Handling, Fire Regulations, Quality Control and Profit Protection Company Procedure
  • Produce and or support with producing reports and presentations where required
  • Be flexible and comply with any reasonable requests made by your line Manager including if necessary, working within other units within reasonable distance
Who you are:

Essential

  • Diligent and has an eye for detail
  • Previous experience in administrative roles
  • Excellent IT skills, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Integrity and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • High standard of literacy skills
  • Effective planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work as a team but self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Can Do attitude
  • A good communicator, able to liaise confidently with customers and engage with team members

What you'll be doing:

We're recruiting an experienced Administrator who is friendly, adaptable and can confidently manage general administrative duties on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.

You'll be responsible for supporting the General Manager in providing an efficient and effective operation of remote units within our Metropolitan Police Contract. Effectively and efficiently using our internal financial, planning, ordering and stock control systems. Maintaining data accuracy to ensure excellent service through availability of products and and charging.
