Fostering Administrator

We are looking for a Administrator to join our growing team in Croydon. As the Fostering Administrator, you will be willing to take on new challenges and be part of a growing team. Join a dynamic and growing fostering agency.

The post entails undertaking all office administration tasks to ensure the effective and efficient running of the Fostering Team, office systems in accordance with the service’s policies and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To provide administrative support to the Management team and the social work team
To respect confidentiality and to comply with your duty of confidentiality
To effectively respond and record applications from prospective foster carers from initial telephone contact through to approval at Panel.
Undertaking typing as requested within timescales.
Ability to take minutes of meetings including, team meetings, fostering panels and foster carer support meetings, providing accurate typed records, and disseminating records within agreed timescales
Input data on electronic systems and databases
The co-ordination of requests for reference checks, DBS etc, monitoring returns and recording receipt on the Agency’s system.
To support the team with marketing, responding to calls, taking applicant details, sending out letter’s and information packs and possibly assist the team at outside events
To undertake training as opportunities, arise relevant to the post

Undertake any other duties as required by the Registered Manager or Company Directors

Being able to work flexibly including weekends and evenings if needed.
