An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Administrator to support the administrative team at Glenburnie Lodge, a brand-new purpose-built care home, in Wenvoe.
Opening Summer 2023, Glenburnie Lodge will comprise beautifully furnished accommodation as well as a range of exceptional facilities, to include a gym, bar, cinema, coffee lounge, beauty salon and dining rooms. Balconies and terraces overlooking landscaped gardens will also feature in this stunning new development.
We need a customer focussed, professional and experienced administrator ideally with a proven background in a care home environment. You will have experience within an accounting and credit control environment as well as the knowledge of reviewing expenditure against budgets and controlling purchasing. You will be able to work under pressure but also have the initiative to work on your own. You must be a team player with the ability to use Microsoft office and excel
The Job Role Includes:
- Preparation of weekly reports
- Sales and purchase ledger
- Reconciliation of income from local authorities and individuals.
- Preparing new residents’ contracts
- follow up-non-payment of fees
- Collating payroll
- Record all transactions relating to the admission and discharge of all residents and input same to the accounting network on a monthly basis
- Recruitment processing
- To ensure that employee HR files are maintained in accordance with requirements and that all records pertaining to employees are accurately and contemporaneously recorded including sickness, absence and annual leave.
- To actively participate within your role in a service that is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led.
- To set up, assist and maintain various office systems and adaptation towards efficiency where required.
- To demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
