Hours: 7:30 – 17:00 (Weekend and bank holiday working is essential but flexible hours are also available during the week)

Salary: Up to £25k depending on experience

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing permits and liaising with the operational team to ensure permits are implemented as required.
Here are a few examples of your likely daily tasks:
- Registering measurements following excavations on site.
- Submitting permit applications and traffic management applications for emergency works
- Use Management Information systems to effectively capture and report accurate data, ensuring timelines are met.
- First point of contact with external and internal stakeholders ensuring information is distributed.
- Undertake business activities to ensure all information is accurate and to up to date.
- Answer initial queries and escalate to relevant area of the organisation if required.
- Undertake general office administration duties.
- Compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Fleet policies, procedures and standards.
We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following...
An understanding of permitting, Streetworks and NRSWA legislation desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Previous experience using Insight Symology is desirable but not essential.
Weekend and bank holiday working will be essential but flexible hours are also available during the week - to be discussed at interview.
All training will take place during the week.
You’ll be liaising with colleagues, clients, and suppliers, so great communication skills are also essential, alongside good organisational skills and with a good basic knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Outlook etc.
