Part Time Customer Service/Admin Contractor (paid per hour) – 20 hours per week, over 5 days Monday-Friday average 4 hours a day times to be agreed prior to start of contract. Some flexibility will be considered.
Premier Fire Doors and Active Fire Safety are leading suppliers of Fire Safety products and services to both B to B and B to C clients. As a family run business, we have provided expert advice and guidance across the UK and our main business is fire doors and their associated products.
To help support Premier Fire Doors and Active Fire Safety Ltd and continued growth during 2023, we require an experienced customer service/administrator, who ideally has a proven track record dealing with customers on a day to day basis. The successful candidate will work 4 hours per day and share an admin role with customer support as the main focus working along the full time administrator. General administration skills are required including all microsoft packages including word, power point, XL and CSV files experience.
You will be sharing a role and be expected to:
- Process all orders via our online shopify platform.
- Deal with our suppliers and couriers.
- Day to day customer support with orders and any issues.
- Day to day admin supporting key areas of the business, retail sales, and consultancy including bookings for services we provide via our surveyors.
Skills required:
- Microsoft suite use and knowledge to be of a good level, Word, Excel and CSV etc.
- Knowledge or ability to learn our shopify system, Microsoft office 365 system.
- Ideally worked within the fire door industry but not essential.
A 3-month temporary contract will be agreed, working from home and will require suitable computing equipment and wifi connection during contracted hours.
Hourly rate to be discussed at interview stage, (please provide your pay expectations as you will be a part time contractor with a view to further full time contracting for the successful candidate.
