An opportunity has arisen for permanent administration positions within the Community Healthy Bladder & Bowel service. The base is Gorseinon Hospital Swansea and the successful applicant will work closely with the nursing team. The working pattern is usually Monday- Friday excluding bank holidays.
The successful applicants will be responsible for the administrative and clerical duties required by the Community Healthy Bladder & Bowel service which would include.
The Administrative Support Officer will be responsible for delivering safe, high quality administrative support to the Community Healthy Bladder & Bowel Service.
The post holder will work within the scope of the Health Care Support Worker’s Code of Conduct (2012) under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Specialist/ Lead Nurse.
Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the Health Board and promote these on a day to day basis.
Act as a role model to colleagues, always seeking to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
The provision of the day to day administration/clerical/data entry support to the department ensuring that the referral & appointments system is utilised effectively and patients appointments are arranged and altered as required.
Answering and dealing with patient appointment, referrals and other non-clinical enquiries both via telephone and email.
Dealing with enquiries from the patients, departmental staff and other health care staff.
Stock ordering.
