Junior Sous Chef
Opening in Spring 2023, Midland Grand Dining Room is a landmark institution in the making and is set to be the most exciting new opening of the year. Located in the iconic St Pancras building and heralding the gateway to Europe, it will be a showcase of exceptional food, incredible wine and true hospitality.
Following the success of the legendary Chiltern Firehouse and beautiful Allegra, this is the latest collaboration between London property developer, Harry Handelsman and Irish chef, Patrick Powell.
As a Junior Sous Chef for one of London's most beautiful dining rooms, you will have a vital role in supporting the chefs and team around you, helping to manage the day to day kitchen operations and working with incredible produce to create high quality seasonal dishes
Spanning a large dining room, a beautiful Private Dining Room, exciting Chef’s Table experience, stunning terrace and striking bar, Midland Grand is the ultimate opportunity for a Sous Chef looking to progress their career and develop their talents.
We are looking for a proactive and driven Sous Chef to assist in leading our kitchen team with a dynamic and engaging spirit while maintaining the highest quality standards.

We are looking for…
- · 2 years experience in a similar role
- · The ability to thrive in a high volume environment while maintaining consistency
- · To support the kitchen management team and develop the chefs around you
- · Ensure highly effective communication within the team
- · A constant sense of professionalism and accuracy
- · Ensure high standards of food preparation that are fully in line with hygiene policies
- · A strong understanding of stock control and budgets.
