About us
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our small administrative team primarily to provide support for students and teaching in our division. The LMCB is a division within the Faculty of Life Sciences with approximately 100 staff and students and a strong international reputation for research excellence in molecular cell biology.
About the role
You will work closely with the Associate Director (Education) and the Head of Administrative & Support Services to provide key administrative and managerial support for the division’s students, HR, events, committees and other administrative services.
This is a varied role which would suit a good team player with excellent communication, organisational and computer skills. You should also be self-motivated and able to work independently with initiative and will need to be reliable, flexible and able to work calmly under pressure.

- This is a fixed-term role for one year in the first instance.

- We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
- This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site.
About you
You will play a key role in providing an efficient support service for research and education at the LMCB. In particular, you will support activity in relation to teaching and learning, and take pride in delivering an excellent service to colleagues, students, stakeholders, partners and the wider UCL community.
