This is an exciting opportunity to join our People team at Sense as a Administration Team Leader on a 12 month fixed term contract. This opportunity will focus on delivering a high quality people management and a consistent People Team administration service to employees and managers; across Recruitment and Volunteering and HR administration.
This opportunity is based in Selly Oak, Birmingham, working 37.5 hours per week on a hybrid basis.
No two days are the same; you will supporting the team to deliver exceptional service for colleagues, managers and candidates across the organisation in a variety of key areas including recruitment, on-boarding of new staff, DBS checks, reference checks, right to work checks, and general HR Administration. As a team leader some key areas of ownership for the successful applicant will include:
Supervising, supporting and coaching the Onboarding, Volunteering, and Administration teams to deliver an exceptional service for colleagues, managers and candidates across the organisation.
Organising the day-to-day work allocation of the team and re-allocate work where required to achieve KPIs and SLAs.
Utilising and advise on key systems including Reach (ATS), SMILE (eLearning), and iTrent
Produce accurate weekly and monthly data to the People Administration Manager on SLAs and team performance
Use data to make key decisions with the People Administration Manager
Key skills and experience required:
A proven track record as an experienced and motivational Team Leader in a busy, fast paced administration team with a high volume of queries
Proven experience of managing a team with six or more individuals
Proven ability to problem solve and make pragmatic decisions
Understanding of working within a regulated activity environment
Able to comply with the principles of GDPR and maintain confidentiality at all times About Sense
