An exciting opportunity exists for the right person to join the Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability management team within the Central Area Directorate as a Locality Administration Manager supporting ICMHT, DOPMH & LD. This post is for the west locality covering Longreach House, Redruth and Bolitho House in Penzance. You will work alongside your peers in the East and Mid localities and have close working relations with the Locality Administration Manager who covers Mental Health inpatients and other community Mental Health specialist teams.
We want to attract someone who is enthusiastic and committed to this role who will possess significant admin experience along with an overview of project management skills and a working knowledge of budget management. It is an exciting time to be joining Cornwall Mental Health services as there is planned large scale investment in the local services and a key part of this role will be to become part of these developments, ensuring admin form a key part of our future workforce with clearly defined career paths.

- To be responsible for the operational management of the non-clinical activity within the Locality.
- Lead and management responsibility for admin structures within the Locality to ensure all administration and financial functions are streamlined, effective and resilient.
- To act as lead and tenant representative for all occupied sites within the Locality and to be the lead for Health and Safety issues arising from property management.
- Identify and implement changes which led to service improvement and development.
- Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management.
- Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks.
- Lead on reporting and analysis across a range of specialities, functions and projects for the Locality.
- Providing administration support functions to the Operational Manager and support to Operational meetings.
- Be a key member of the operational management team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
- Key support and guidance on non-clinical business in the locality and report directly to the Operational Manager.
