PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The primary responsibility of the Casino Marketing Administration Manager is to ensure consistency for Casino Marketing across the organization by managing the day-to-day administrative processes of International Marketing, with added focus on Far East Marketing. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides administrative support for Far East Marketing between Las Vegas and Macau operations in order to maintain alignment across the entire team and with all of Casino Marketing
- Manages International Marketing tournaments and events including developing formats, setting criteria, reviewing and approving customer participation, pacing and reconciliation
- Manages communication of information for property room inventory, restaurant, spa, and entertainment news as well as Casino Marketing updates
- Partners with Casino Marketing Finance and Casino Accounting in evaluating department performance and making value recommendations through such reports as Comp and Allowance Exception Reports, Invitation Data Analysis, etc.
- Provides structural support to the corporate Casino Marketing Ticketing function for the preparation and execution of ticketed events
- Manages the International Marketing gift supply in order to ensure proper utilization of inventory
- Oversees International Marketing tickets for concerts and events including ticket block requests, setting and adhering to criteria, reviewing & approving customer participation, pacing, pre-seat, distribution, and reconciliation
- Oversees Market Authorizer change requests for National & International Marketing and regional/branch marketing
- Provides support and assistance to International Marketing regional/branch employees and independent agents
- Supports the administration of International Marketing Independent Agent commissions by ensuring accurate customer gaming data when requested
- Approves villa and suite requests by reviewing customer gaming activity and room availability; assists with resolution as reservation conflicts arise
- Approves property marketing executive credit card and cash expense reports
- Prepares and distributes reports required for operations including, but not limited to, participant reports, pacing reports, high-profile reports, and arrival reports
- Reviews customer gaming Tier levels and Express Comp program eligibility
- Attends regular International Marketing Administration staff meetings, Corporate International Marketing meetings, and property meetings as required
- Partners with senior property Marketing Executives to resolve guest and/or employee issues effectively and professionally
- Organizes, manages, and completes assigned projects from the Director of Casino Marketing Development and property-specific departmental leaders with attention to detail and within established deadlines
- Promotes Casino Marketing events and initiatives and regularly informs Marketing teams of current and upcoming events as well as current and updated policies and procedures
- Protects the confidentiality of all department and company files and documents under their immediate control
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- One (1) year of relevant experience
