You are invited to apply for the post of Faculty Receptionist/Administrative Assistant based at Southampton General Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and professional individual to provide Reception/Administrative support within the Faculty of Medicine. This role will support the front of house reception service for two Schools within the Faculty; Human Development and Health and Cancer Sciences with the main reception area located within the Institute of Developmental Sciences building at Southampton General Hospital. This is a busy and varied role that requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The post holder will act as Receptionist/Administrator, which will include, greeting visitors, dealing with deliveries, post and email correspondence and managing room bookings. You will also provide administrative support to both Schools and help with the administrative workload of the Faculty.
You will have good IT skills, the ability to work independently and interface with internal and external personnel. A flexible approach to work is essential to meet business needs. In addition you will possess experience in a similar role and have strong administrative skills and be expected to plan and prioritise your workload.
The work-pattern for this role is 0830am-1215pm (0.52FTE) Monday to Friday.
