Post No. SSCF0326.3 - Business Support Administrator – Youth Justice Service
A fantastic opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic, experienced administrator to join our Service. The Youth Justice Service is a multi-agency team, that includes a leadership team, social workers, youth justice workers, CAMHS nurse, substance misuse worker, speech and language therapist and business support. The team is based within the Civic centre however, a flexible approach including home and office working is supported.
We are looking to appoint a full time Administrator to work in the Business Support Team within Newport Youth Justice Service. The post holder will provide effective business administration support for the service including processing referrals, raising invoices, dealing with payment queries, co-ordinating Referral Order Panels and minute taking at meetings. The post holder will be proficient in the use of Microsoft software including word and excel.
Supervision is regular and the opportunities for career development and training are excellent. Newport itself is a great place to live and work being a geographically small city with a diverse population. It is situated on the M4 corridor and is located between Bristol and Cardiff with excellent transport links. Newport is a growing city with access to affordable housing, good schools and community resources.
