Job description
Administrative
· Opening and sorting post and DX, printing, photocopying and other general admin tasks
· Taking charge of clerks email inbox and forwarding emails to required person or department
· Maintaining stationery levels, upkeep and placing stationery orders
· Data entry of documents and new briefs on the computer system
· Allocating conference rooms on the computer diary
· Running various fee reports and payment summaries and emailing them to relevant recipients both on a scheduled and an ad hoc basis
· Assisting staff and members of Chambers in locating briefs and any other daily tasks
· Collecting and delivering post and DX, hand delivering documents to the Court and Solicitor firms when required
· Assisting in the organizing of any events, compiling invite lists and logging replies
· Maintain levels of confidential waste sacks and arrange collections of the same.
· Running errands
Front of house
· Answering telephone calls, transferring to appropriate recipient and taking messages
· Greeting members of Chambers, staff and clients
· Accepting and processing of any deliveries
· Ensures the cleanliness and tidiness of Reception, Conference rooms and public areas to which clients have access
· Making refreshments for conferences and visitors and arranging catering for meetings
· Log and report any premises problems to the Head of Fees and Admin and arrange for trades people to attend for urgent repairs and routine maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £21,450.00 per year
