Available Job Today Residential Services offers accommodation for over 8000 students across 3 main residential sites, our diverse population includes those attending a course in preparation for university study, undergraduates and postgraduates from both the UK and other parts of the world. In addition we offer a range of accommodation options during the summer vacation period for both students and conferences.
Reporting to the Accommodation Office Manager, the post holder will be the first point of contact for any enquiries regarding our accommodation. The successful candidate will have proven clerical and administrative skills and possess demonstrable excellence in customer service skills, as well as the ability to prioritise their own workload to achieve agreed targets.
Sound written and verbal communication skills are also essential attributes for this role, along with a good understanding of IT-based administrative control systems and an ability to develop and effectively manage administration procedures.
Primarily working Monday to Friday, some flexibility is required during the period leading up to and during student arrival dates as well as assisting with University events such as open days.
