Job description
We are currently looking for an administrative assistant who has good communication, organisational, customer service and time-management skills with a great telephone manner for a busy Welfare Hire Company. You will need great multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to a high level of accuracy. You will also need an excellent telephone manner with good problem-solving skills.
DUTIES
- Answering and directing all calls
- Providing admin support
- Dealing with customers professionally and politely, while maximising customer service
- Call customers prior to deliver of equipment & Mobile engineer attending sites due & follow up calls to customers regarding visits
- Raising charges to customers resulting from damages
- Communicating effectively with other colleagues and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries.
- General clerical duties; scanning, photocopying, filing.
- Use of Microsoft Applications & Inhouse systems for a very busy department
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent administration experience
- Experience of working in a transport office or workshop
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to prioritise work and perform under pressure in a busy environment
- High attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Must be IT literate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and adaptable and the ability to work well under pressure.
