Junior Residential Development Sales Assistant (9 month FTC)

The team
There are 44 people in the Residential Development Sales Department, including 4 Partners, 1 Legal Director, 3 Senior Associates, 1 Associate, 1 Associate Legal Executive, 1 Solicitor, 1 Departmental Admin Manager, 5 Team Leaders and several RDS Assistants.
The department deals with the sale of plots for a number of House Builders and Registered Social Landlord’s with clients such as Barratt, Berkeley, Canary Wharf, L&Q, Notting Hill Genesis and A2Dominion.
The role
The Residential Development Sales team are looking for someone to assist the department (or relevant team) with administrative support.
Please note the role is a 9 month FTC.
Under the direction of a Team Leader/other senior member(s) of the team, the candidate will:
- Archive completed matters
- Scan documents
- Post-completion paperwork – date hardcopy documents, scan and save to each matter’s online file
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post and liaising with our Admin Department
- Receive Client instructions and input all data into the Plot Sales Database (“PSD”)
- Answer the telephone, take messages and deal with email requests
- Ensure a paper light environment with a clear desk policy
Candidate specification
This is an entry level role and requires someone:
- Who is organised and systematic
- Who is enthusiastic, pro-active and enjoys a ‘hands on’ approach to work
- Plot sales experience would be an advantage but not essential
Expertise required:
- Good attention to detail is essential
- Hard working and flexible
- Team player
- Good at following instructions
