We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide support to our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing documents and reports, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Being part of the operational support team supporting our fantastic team of home carers
- To input and extract data from our bespoke Care Management System
- To make effective communications using a number of different mediums such as telephone, email or face to face, and to ensure queries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner
- To perform general administrative functions, such as dealing with correspondence, scanning, shredding, filing, sorting and checking documentation
- Meet and greet delegates for training sessions and members of the public that may call in.
- To be comfortable with the Microsoft 365 range of apps. Excel, SharePoint and Word.
- To work with a high level of accuracy
- To maintain professional standards and expertise by undertaking relevant professional development
- To maintain quality standards appropriate to the post
- To conform with the Health and Safety requirements relevant to the post
- To be responsible for the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of service users wherever applicable
- Any other duties as reasonably requested
The role involves working at weekends as part of a rota.
We support our carers from 7am to 10pm. This role is a hybrid role and can include some home working and for the right candidate we can accommodate most availability within those times.
Our head office is based outside the lovely village of Langrick and our brand new training and development Hub has just opened in the centre of Spilsby. Ideally you would be able to work from both locations.
