CVS is looking to recruit a highly motivated, organised and proactive individual who will provide high quality, efficient support to the CVS Head of Centre, his research group and the CVS Centre Manager.
The Opportunity:
The principal role is to provide administrative support to the Head of Centre for the Centre for Cardiovascular science. The post sits within the Centre for Cardiovascular Science administration team, managed by the Centre Manager. The post holder will also provide core administrative support to the Centre for Cardiovascular Science.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Significant, relevant experience in the provision of high quality support to senior management.
- Excellent IT skills including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, a commitment to accuracy and high attention to detail.
- Highly developed time-management skills, with experience of dealing with conflicting demands and prioritising workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of colleagues.
- Adaptability, flexibility and willingness to take on a range of duties within a team environment
