Job description
We are excited to be recruiting for a key member of our team. As the Administrative Assistant you will often be the first person Social Work Scotland members, the public and key partners get in touch with. You’ll need to be friendly but professional, highly organised but also flexible and responsive. The role supports a dynamic team involved in many different, interconnected pieces of work. It’s important that you share the values and principles inherent to social work, bringing a commitment to social justice, equality and individual dignity.
As Administrative Assistant, you will assist with the organisation’s daily running of the administrative and financial functions. Together with the Administrative and Finance Officer, you will support colleagues to plan and deliver their business. You will process payments, payroll and member’s annual subscriptions. You will support the Operations Manager, Director and Head of Policy and Workforce with planning and team coordination.
This post is line managed by and reports to the Operations Manager.
