The College of Language and Intelligence in the National Cryptologic University (NCU) continues to expand language cross-training and area studies coursesAs an Education and Training Coordinator, you will act as the training coordinator for Intermediate and Advanced language training, will work closely with the Language Enterprise Mission Manager who is responsible for programmatic oversight of all cryptologic language training for civilian and military personnel worldwide. This effort requires close coordination with mission partners in the Operations and the Cybersecurity Directorates, the Senior Language Authority, the military services, the Defense Language Institute, and the Department of Defense managers.
Responsibilities and Duties include:- Serve as a liaison and representative for military cryptologic language training.- Support the College of Language and Intelligence leadership in the execution of the cryptologic language program.- Lead special projects and working groups, as needed.- Support the Responsible Training Authority Team in assisting military services in effectively executing the College of Language and Intelligence processes.- Support the oversight of the language and area studies training requirements process and develop and document new processes and guidelines as required to support the National Cryptologic University, the Senior Language Authority and other's goals.- Ensure accurate forecasting of training requirements to ensure funding through the Army's Structured Manning Decision Review process for the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) working with the military services.- Support the college in participating in the Cryptologic Training Advisory Group process to establish and ensure compliance with the minimum training standard at the intermediate and advanced levels.- Support the college in working with NSA Security to ensure Uncleared Language Instructor vetting applications are efficiently processed and tracked to ensure sufficient instructors are available to meet training requirements.

Qualifications

The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position.Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.Degree must be in Education, Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Development, I-O Psychology, or an Education-related field (e.g., Educational Leadership, Educational Policy, Educational Administration, Education Technology).Relevant experience must be in the coordination of people, projects, or events and/or in a subject matter related to the position in which the candidate is applying. Formal or informal leadership experience is preferred.

Competencies

The ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated, well-organized individual with extensive experience working with or in a language training organization. The individual will also be comfortable collaborating with a wide variety of organizations and managers and leaders at all levels, leading teams, and managing training requirements. Demonstrated experience in working at Service Cryptologic Component Headquarters or higher level is helpful.Specialized knowledge and experience in the following is preferred:In-depth knowledge and understanding of language training within the military and the management of military Language Analysts is highly desired, with an emphasis on the use of the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) as one of the suppliers of language training for the Department of Defense.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position.Salary ranges vary by work level and location. This position is hiring for Maryland.Salary Range: $112,015 - $172,075 (Senior level)Work Schedule: Typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, with basic 8 hr/day work requirements between 0600 and 1800 (flexible).
