We are looking to build our office team and find strong candidates with a can do attitude and enthusiasm to develop in their career. Please note you must have previous trade industry experience preferably within reactive maintenance and installation, in one or all of the following i.e plumbing, gas, electrics, drainage, . PLEASE do not apply if you have no previous relevant experience in this type of industry as we are looking for someone that is quick to get up to speed and the terminology can take a while to learn.
The reactive trade industry is a very fast paced environment and so you must thrive on being busy and managing your own tasks. We are also not a large company and so previous experience with working in a smaller personal team is always great.
What Skills Are A Must?
- Friendly enthusiastic phone manner with the ability to adapt to suit different types of clients
- Good delegation and time management skills enabling you to expand your role and work as part of a team
- The ability to motivate yourself when working alone, whilst being able to communicate as part of a larger team
- Understanding of how the trade industry works and diary management planning - in terms of location and job times and managing engineers during the process of a job
- Good common sense and understand of a business's needs so as to make the best decisions alone and guiding the engineers
- Good self organisation skills such as keeping a task list and responding to emails/customers in a timely manner
- Good computer and typing skills. With the ability to learn new software programs.
- Having high standards and wanting to achieve perfection with details and processes
- The ability to admit mistakes and learn from them
- Being able to assess new needs and suggesting ideas to better the the business
- Being able to deal with complaints with an analytical view and then providing your suggestions to management with the information
- Good business understanding and acumen so you can relate to processes that are being implemented and why the better the team and the business as a whole
What Skills Would Be A Bonus?
- Previous management/team leader experience would be a bonus as there are potential roles as the company develops and grows for the right and willing candidates
- Previous technical experience (i.e working in a merchants or technical knowledge from previous qualifications)
- Sales experience - Able to build relationships with account customers such as estate agents and thriving off hitting targets
The Job role will be carried out from our head office in New Malden - we are looking for someone to work 5 Days a week Mon-Saturday and where a Saturday is worked a day off in the week With no more than 2 Saturdays per month. 9 hours per day with up to an hours lunch with variable starting times between 7am-9am and finishing 4pm-6pm
The salary is dependent on the candidate and their previous experience as well as any other skills that may be a benefit.
